Antioch Writers' Workshop

I attended Antioch College's Writers' Workshop for a day and a half last weekend. Andre Dubus III and Gayle Brandeis gave Creative Writing Classes. Breakout sessions were with Grace Curtis on poetry, Kristina McBride on Young Adult fiction, and Lesley Pearce Keating on self-publishing. Grace Curtis gave us an outline of how to maneuver in the publishing world. Kristina McBride talked about getting an agent, and Lesley Pearce Keating spoke on how to self-publish and why one might want or not want to do that. The whole experience was heart warming and energizing. I'm hoping I can go back next year for the whole week.
